2023 QLD State Championships

Great Result for the 2023 QLD State Championships for Sunshine Coast Judo Club, 5th Best Club in the State.

We had 11 competitors from our club, and we are so proud of their results and effort as a club. We placed 5th Best Club in the State out of 27 QLD judo Clubs. What an amazing result to achieve within our first year.

Junior Girls Under 32kg - Pippa O'Leary 2nd

Senior Men Under 90kg - Rayne Verity 2nd

Veteran Men Under 73kg - Paul Thurgood 3rd

The Queensland Judo State Championships is a highly anticipated annual event for judo enthusiasts in the state. In 2023, the championships were held at Nissan Arena, and participants from across the state will come together to compete in various categories and age groups.
